First Day Hike at Moraine State Park

Say Hello! to 2024 with a hike on the Pleasant Valley Trail at Moraine State Park. The Pleasant
Valley Trail winds past the sled riding hill, near Bear Run launch area, and joins the Sunken
Garden Trail to make a loop of about two miles. Reserve your spot on the First Day Hike with
views of Lake Arthur and trek through snowy woods, on this trail rated for easy hiking. First Day
Hikes are open to all ages and may include friendly dogs on leashes. Reservations are required

Registration opens December 1. Confirmation and meeting location details will be emailed to
you once you complete your registration. Wear sturdy shoes, dress for the weather and the
outdoors, and bring your own drink and snacks. Severe or dangerous weather cancels event
automatically.
