Stavich Bicycle Trail: Approximately 12 miles long, the trail crosses two states, beginning in New Castle and continuing into Struthers, Ohio providing scenic views of the Mahoning River, The Stavich Trail was designated a National Recreational Trail in 2003

West Park Nature Center: A wildlife sanctuary containing blue bird nesting boxes, an arboretum and a one mile hiking trail with an observation deck overlooking the wetlands
